L?événement, qui mettra en vedette les deux aspirants au titre mondial du Groupe Yvon Michel (GYM), constitue un véritable doublé pour l?Outaouais. Le champion NABA et aspirant numéro 1 au titre WBA, Joachim Alcine (27-0-0,18 KO) affrontera Hermann NGoudjo (14-0-0, 9 KO) champion WBC International et NABF et classé 5e par la WBC. Les portes ouvriront dès 11 h pour le gala de 12 h.

WBA #1 jr middleweight contender Joachim Alcine (27-0, 18 KOs) will be stepping back into the ring on October 28th when he meets seasoned Dominican/Argentinian veteran Jose Joaquin Rosa Gomez (54-19-5, 32 KOs) at the Lac Leamy Casino in a card promoted by Groupe Yvon Michel. Alcine had been mentioned to face WBA champion Jose Rivera but with that fight having been delayed, the Haitian-Canadian Alcine is keeping busy facing a very hardy opponent in Rosa Gomez, a throwback kind of a battler with an amount of fights in his record rarely seen nowaydays and with over 10 bouts for various regional titles in weights from 140 to 154 lbs in his 15 year career. The iron-chinned Rosa Gomez will be remembered for having upset former world champion Raul Balbi (TKO 8) in 2003. "I don´t like easy fights," mentioned Alcine, "so I´m welcoming the oportunity to step in against a tough guy like Rosa Gomez."
