HAPPY CAMPER: Haitian-American Josmer Altidore makes US U-20 roster & Will play against Haiti

New York Red Bulls forward Jozy Altidore was named among 21 players who will attend U.S. Under-20 training camp in Bradenton, Fla. through Jan. 6 in preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifying.

Also in camp are Columbus Crew midfielder Danny Szetela, a Clifton, N.J. native, and defender Tim Ward, a former MetroStar.

The team will regroup on Jan. 10 in Fort Lauderdale where they will train before heading to Panama on Jan. 14 for the qualifying tournament

The U.S. is in Group A of the CONCACAF final round qualifying tournament with Guatemala, Haiti and host Panama. The top two teams in the group will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, which will take place from June 30-July 22 across six cities ? Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, Burnaby and Victoria. The U.S. will be attempting to qualify for their sixth successive FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The CONCACAF qualifying tournament will be help in Panama City, Panama in January.

The qualifying schedule:

Jan. 17 -- U.S. vs. Haiti, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 6:30 p.m.

Jan. 17 -- Panama vs. Guatemala, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 8:30 p.m.

Jan. 19 -- U.S. vs. Guatemala, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 6:30 p.m.

Jan. 19 -- Panama vs. Haiti, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 8:30 p.m.

Jan. 21 -- Guatemala vs. Haiti, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 6 p.m.

Jan. 21 -- U.S. vs. Panama, Rommel Fernandez Stadium, 8 p.m.
