2007 CONCACAF unveiled fixtures for U-17 Final Round; Haiti in Group A

6.2.07 - CONCACAF unveiled today the fixtures for the two Under-17 Final Round Groups (A & B) that will take place in Honduras and Jamaica later this year.

Group A will be held at the Tiburcio Carias Andino Stadium in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from 4-8 April and has El Salvador, Haiti and Mexico alongside the hosts.

Meanwhile, Group B takes place at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica and is composed of four teams joining the home side that includes Canada, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago and USA from 28 April ? 6 May.

The top two teams from CONCACAF Final Round Group A along with the best three Group B sides will progress to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Korea Republic 2007.

From 1983-1996, CONCACAF staged eight Under-16/17 Tournaments with a winner being crowned in each. Seven of the CONCACAF tournaments (1985-1996) doubled as qualifiers to the FIFA U-17 World Cups. In 1999, the U-17 CONCACAF event became a Final Round Qualification consisting of two groups, each in a different venue.
