I think this is a very significant point bana2166; it would be great if this youngster could have a change to train with the National Team. ?That way the Coach could determine which one would be qualified to play?. for the National Team or even the U23...

pano i agree with you. i'd rather see some of our players in Haiti fighthing hard to earn a spot in the national team instead of some unproven third division players in France doing nothing great for us.
to add to your list. i think players like Ednerson Raymond, Peter Germain, James Marcelin, james Dorcelus, should be included in the squad.

But How do you get in touch with Federation & Current Coach to make something like that happen ...
If you bring somebody all way from France or Europe to Train with NT ... Why not bring some of the youngster in University & College to train with National Team ..
I really hope NT Coach does take this into account and implement this idea ..

I would take league players ahead of college players any day. As far as Avesca and Sony Norde, they play well in their age groups but need to mature as players before they can play in the A squad. It's always good to get a young player exposed to these competitions and if I were to pick one it would be Sony Norde. But if it's an 18 men roster Norde would be left out.
In the list above I left of several experienced players that I would pick ahead of Norde.

I agree with you Pano... I would select players from the League before I select college players but It would be good idea to have college players train with League players because they would get the experience they need as college players and they could get expose to clubs coaches in Haiti who which to sign them
Another aspect of been an Athlete is Intelligence .... Haitian NT will be getting College Student and Soccer player ..

Bana2166 I?m 100% agree with you, because so many young player are here in United States wishes to play to for Haiti?. Unfortunately no one ever contact them I think if the FHF would have this kids a chance at list they would have a hope. Couple month ago I wrote Mrs. Doctor Jean-bar regarding Gary; thanks God he reply to me same day, he told me that, the staff technique will contact Gary until today nothing never happen.
Bana2166 this is the FHF email jbyves@yahoo.com phone # 509-244-0115 fax # 509- 244-0117 I get this information from the www.fifa.com

This is good guys, we need to keep talking like this! As far as the younger players are concerned, Concacaf will have qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics in the Summer as well. I think that would be the right Venue for these guys to prove themselves. Unless you find this rare player that is ready for the A team at 17, its a proccess. As we all know most of the names we now know were part of the under 17, under 20, under 23 before they made to the national team. I believe the coach will make the right decisions. I am only hoping that he is getting full cooperation from the federation, but then again with his accomplisments, I think they cannot help but give him whatever he asks for! We will never all agree with the final roster, but right now we just have to trust the coach, it's his call!
GO HAITI!!!!

Bana ahead of the Gold Cup I would not want those College guys anywhere near the NT. Full focus needs to be given to the A-team. If a player is playing in Europe's top League like Bridece Azor, then yes I would bring him in and let him train with the team right now (assuming he's willing to play for Haiti).
After the Gold Cup our established A teamers can take a break and the coach could go on a talent scouting mode for a while and try out some of those players. Now all focus should be on the A team. PHaiti mentioned a few players not included in my rough list and there are a lot more Haiti based proven players that should be looked at.
Coach Garcia has proven to us that he's a good coach he will evaluate these players and make the best decision.
Also: Book intelligence and Soccer intelligence are totally unrelated, I've known many brilliant players who can't read.

Than Ribert .. we need to use the public media to call them out in the press .....because it was the embarrassment of the NT against Cuba, Martinique and Suriman that force the federation to replace Carlo Marcelin with the Cuban/Haitian Coach ...
If the president of the federation says he would call Gary St Fleur and has not ... them we need to call him out in public .....
as fare as Summer Olympic 2008 ... the U23 NT ... Yeah, it would be good exposure for the college players to train with NT for preparation for the Olympic .....
as in the case of Wesley Laine, I know in the pass he has offer to travel to haiti with his own money just to get an oppertunity to train with the National Team but as of right now ... No one from the federation has ever had the decency to contacted or call Wesley Laine back ... How much does a call or email cost from Haiti ..

Pano .... National Team Training with college players will not be a distraction for the NT ... its more experience for the College players than the professional ....
College players will be comiing to train with the NT not to take anybody jobs ... they will only be there to train with NT and of course the focus should be on the A-Team or NT ...
