Football/Soccer - Eloi? or, No Eloi? What do the fans say?
Pro: Despite his inactivity, Eloi is the most experienced and notable available striker to the Haitian NT. With the loss of Peguero due to Injury the NT is short of potent strikers. The Haitian NT is solid in defense and midfield but an injury to Eliphene Cadet could seriously impact Haiti's...

C'etait ma position aussi pano. Men mwen kwe ke yon moun de plus nan antrenman yo pa ka yon move bagay. So ann kite Garcia deside ; misye fe preuve de bon jijman deja. Mais en ce qui me concerne, atitid Eloi pa bon menm.
M'bezwen moun ki pral pote mayo Ayiti a ak anpil fierte tou!!

I want proud Haitians on the NT! Good or bad Haiti's the motherland! Things are bad, so get security guards, Windsor Norcent is in Haiti training, Wyclef Jean is in Haiti all the time.

I could I be enthusiastic when my family is been attack in Haiti and I don't recall hearing Wyclef Family been attack in haiti ..

Eloi: He has personal reasons why he would not go in Haiti. Kidnapping is a valid reason especially if he's being targeted. But this does not excuse his previous attitude of being too good for Haiti. I don't separate his previous snub from he's conditional agreement to play for Haiti. If I'm going to war I want my soldiers to be loyal to the cause (Haiti) no matter what the circumstances.
Side note on Wyclef: When I would not go to Bel air due to security reason, I saw a picture of Wyclef riding a bicycle in the middle of Bel Air. Even the kidnappers seem to have respect for a star who raise the Haitian Flag everywhere he goes. He's a true Grenadier.
That's the type of Haitians I'd like to see on the field.
Vive Haiti!

Allright , everybody has voice their opinion , some have good points and some just mis the whole thing.Wagneau Eloi would of being a great addition to the team if we were about to play a bunch of small teams , teams like MEXICO AND USA, Wagneau won't be able to to do us any good against them.Lookin at his STATS , i think you guys give too much credit to that guy , this is a guy who play 19 games when he was 23 years old and scored 2 goals , This is a guy who played 196 games and only scored 49 goals in 14 years.I don't don't see how is going to be a potential to the team.
For some reason , you guys are always hype about this type of players , just because they play in a different country that doesn't mean they are better player than our players " EXAMPLE" BRUNY PIERRE RICHARD".He has a very good level but he's still in Haiti .
mark my words This guys will just be another FELINGA AND VETEM.
I SAY NO TO HIM ...

Kapwa,
I will have to say that I totally disagree with your input about Velten and Fellinga! These guys were never given a chance!
Having followed the game, we should all have heard of players that are average on a team for years and become superstars on a different team! This is after years! We cannot possibly judge these guys on one game, a bogus one at that, againgst the Under-20! A game that should have never taken place. The fact that they played for Holland at any level makes them quality players. Meaning they are masters of the fundamentals. We have had national team player who could not kick a ball properly because they lack the proper foundation. And let's not forget these guys are in their early 20s, who know how good they will be in a few years. We may regret how we treated them down the line. I personally think they should have been used at least at the end of the Panama game. Because actually the fact that they have not been part of an official senior game, they are still qualified to play for Holland if they were to be called!!
Back to Eloi, we may be jumping the boat here! If indeed Coach Garcia is in charge than we have nothing to worry about. He will decide whether or not Eloi will help us!!
As for his stats, name one other player on our current NT that have scored even 1 goal in Europe! It does make difference. C-mon you have to be joking comparing the digicel to Europe. That does not mean we will not have quality players like Bruny, but Eloi's experience is something you cannot buy.

We all kind of quest the reason Wyclef was able to walk around Bel Air is because the gang members got grease (Money) ... We suspect that ...
So that makes him a grenadier because He grease the Gang Members ... Wow ...

Talent makes a team ... Not how proud you are .. Proud does not win games ..... Talent those and that point I do not miss ...

Josmer Altidore chose not to play for the NT but instead chose to play for the US U20 team ..
Those that make him less proud to be Haitian or if he change his mind to chose too represent Haiti .. Those that make him less proud too represent US ...
or we going to say no to Josmer ....if he changes his mind to represent Haiti ...

Josmer Altidore was born here and raised here and told us that he does not consider himself Haitian. In fact being of Haitian origin does not make you Haitian. Josmer could never adapt to life in Haiti and has lost all ties to Haiti. I don't blame him for chosing the US over Haiti. Adu chose the US over Ghana and missed the World Cup but that's his choice. I would not want Altidore on the Haitian NT either because he does not consider himself Haitian.
Winning: I won't lie to you! I like winning also, and if Eloi become the main scorer for Haiti in the Gold Cup I will forgive him. In fact I'll buy his Jersey and be an Eloi supporter. He would be the "enfant prodigue" of Haiti and I'll be forever thankfull. I'm just worried that he could mess up the morale and chemistry of the team.
Let Garcia decide!
