Pro: Despite his inactivity, Eloi is the most experienced and notable available striker to the Haitian NT. With the loss of Peguero due to Injury the NT is short of potent strikers. The Haitian NT is solid in defense and midfield but an injury to Eliphene Cadet could seriously impact Haiti's Gold Cup hopes. Boucicot has been transformed from a midfielder to a striker by coach Garcia and has done better than many. There's no doubt that Eloi's services on the field or on the bench would be reassuring.

CON: Wageau Eloi was born on September 11, 1973 will soon turn 34 years old. He's been serving a season long suspension since December 2006 thus has not seen action for 6 months. He snubbed the Haitian Natinal Team, when ex-coach Clavijo requested his help for World Cup 2006 Qualifiers. For the Gold Cup he's imposing conditions to the team that he will not play on Haitian soil citing kidnapings as a reason. Other newcommers like Windsor Norcent have shown more pride to play for Haiti and are willing to go to Haiti to train with the team. His attitude could seriously affect the morale of the team.
