I think it's very irresponsible, unwise and ill advised to do such a thing, they do not have a personal visa. Usually the U.S. delivers a collective VISA for the team which will make it impossible for them to stay here in the US. Besides, by escaping like that they become fugitive of the custom law and therefore subject to arrestation and deportation. The immigration is probably looking for their family here in the US and will be so easy to find them.
Now who's smart idea was that?

According to the Article & Dr Yves Jean Bart (President of the Federation) ... He is calling the FBI to look into where about of these players missing ...
if something did happen to them ... I really hope that the laws enforcement find them and resolved this thing right away ... but If they're family happen to have participate (help them) in their "Sauve and put the Federation, Country & Law enforcement threw this manhunt for nothing ... Than I guess they deserve what ever they have coming to them ...
Calling INS was my idea ... and to put the Federation, nation and everybody threw this mess ... is just irresponsible ..
You want to stay in America ... Fill an application and if you are successful in the tournament like everybody else has said ... You could easily get a million Dollars contract ...
Look at Josmer Altidore ... haitian-American ... he is making commercial for Adiddas that is playing on Fox Soccer Channel .... IF Jozzy could do it .. who's to say that the U17 players are not the next jozzy, Rolandinho, Pele or Manno Sanon ...
Fill an US application ..

Like I told a friend this morning: I think someone is pulling a fast one. This can't be true. I'm waiting patiently for the truth to come out. It has nothing to do with me. I do not take their action personal. Shame on them not me. If they were to do something like that, they really think they have a chance to continue playing soccer (on a National League - in the States?)? Whoever is feeding them those lies need to be arrested for conspiracy and lack of common sense. I say their taxi took the wrong turn or they went out and unable to find their way back.

Guys i was listen to Galaxie they found 5 of them they said they were lost they couldn't find they other players...If they Parent has play a role in this the gonna have problem trust me.

Or maybe they went sightseeing and got blown away by the skyscrapers and honestly could not find their way back. Who knows? I went to NYC last summer and God knows how many times I went out alone and got lost. Let's just stay patient.

It's time that we make a team and represent Haiti in a different playing field.
-Represent Haiti at your University, push yourself and study extra hard to help waive your flag Higher.
-Represent Haiti at work, do your job well and get promoted to management and leadership position. This is your chance to learn proper administration, don't waste it.
It's time for the Diaspora to communicate better and form a pact to make a difference in Haiti. We should not only worry on how the world sees Haiti but we should look to make a profound impact in Haiti.
It's our duty to write, start petitions, and act inteligently to influence Haiti's future. We should publicly critique loud mouth opportunist, with nothing to lose, self proclaimed leaders with no credentials. If we don't say or do nothing, Haiti will never get better. I've blamed my father's generation for too long now, it's time we do something. Those U-17 players are victims of the incompetencies of some and the lack of actions of others.
Grenadier a l' assault needs to start off the soccer field!
