Jonathan Polynice Vilma (born April 16, 1982 in Coral Gables, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays middle linebacker for the New York Jets of the NFL. He is one of several NFL players of Haitian descent.
He is known for his uncommonly fast speed for a linebacker, running the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. Vilma is the defensive leader of the Jets and has begun to play a leadership role generally among NFL players.
D'Anthony Batiste (born March 29, 1982) is an American football player who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers. He was previously on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
