HE'S OK: Angel returns home with the team
Red Bulls striker Juan Pablo Angel spent some time at Norwood Hospital Saturday night before returning to New Jersey with the MLS team Sunday.
Angel suffered a concussion in the 55th minute of the Red Bulls' 1-0 playoff elimination loss to the New England Revolution in Foxborough, Mass. Saturday night.
While coming down for an air ball, Revs defender Jay Heaps accidentally kneed Angel in the jaw. The Colombian international hit the ground and was out for 30 seconds, according to Red Bulls officials.
Angel is expected to meet the local media at the team's training headquarters at Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J. Tuesday.
In other Red Bulls developments:
* An assistant coach from Newcastle United attended the match to scout forward Jozy Altidore, according to sources. Altidore turns 18 Tuesday, which means he would be free to join an English Premiership side if he so choose.
* Colombian national coach Jorge Luis Pinto was at Gillette Stadium, scouting for Angel for potential National Team duty and World Cup qualifiers.
