Football/Soccer - Haiti in the Next Round - New Calendar
Haiti Beat the Netherlands Antilles luckily , now we have to take things seriously . I have not writen for so long concerning this subject (national team).I'm Frustrated about how things are going .Since Jan 1st 2008 until now the team has played 13 Games including the one yesterday and we have not won ONE on our Own(N.A Scored an Owned Goal).
The Team is not as good as we think Guys we have all kind of Problems.
Goalies
I Think we have to think about who we put between the Sticks during Game.Fenelon is not a bad Keeper but he is not our best Choice , i feel more Comfortable with PLACIDE on the Goal.Placide has better Position , reaction, agility .Which are really important for a goalie now Days.
Defense
Our Defense is the most Improved part of our Football in this new Era ,i think we progress alot and the Chanpionship we won last year was mainly because of the Defense (i can't really get into it right now). But the 4 defenders is not the best Choice for us , Simply because Bruny has to be on the field .Bruny don't get me wrong is getting better and better , good in the air , good lecture, good position, and firm as a rock ...thos traits defines clearly what a defender must have .Notice i didn't say SPEED,Bruny is Getting Old we Can't afford to match him with a Jorge Borgetti (Mex),Ruiz(Guatemala),Suazo(Hon),Donovan(Usa), he wiill get beat and we will surfer.
In My Opinion the best thing t do is to play with 5 defenders, one sweeper (SW)(Bruny)for all those reasons i stated year , plus being a sweeper give him a little bit of time to rest which will help with his age.Two Central Defenders (CD) , Jean Jacques Pierre(no Comments),Meshack Jerome (he's progressing really fast and i think he can provide a little youth in the defense). Right Back , Aveska Judelin , very Good Marking and young enough to match with some of the best Wingers in the Concacaf, the only thing he doesn't go forward enough and this is due to his central defender mentality .But he doesn't need to go too far high , just at the median will be fine . Left Back Frantz Gilles is the Best Choice so far , but a frant Bertin , Fellinga , can help a little if the Train Hard enough to play it , again we only need them to go as high as the median lane.
Midfielders
Defensive Mid, as af this moment Mones Chery , there is no one else i can think of , he's is in great form right now. Offensive MidIn my Opinion we don't have anybody that's good enough to carry the load , but Bourcicaut can do it , not fully just half of the job , while coordinating with Mones , as simple as possible.Since Our Backs are not gonna go high we need to play with two Wingers , Alcenat (Indiscutable)on the Right and Brunel on the Left with minimal responsabilities , because of his physical conditions. A Fabrice Noel should help also.
Forward
Although he is injured , we don't have a better option then Pegero Jean Phillipe, the bigest problem of our forwards is finishing ,we can't finish an action. In the modern era a full attack is always finish by a shot on goal , which would probably result in a goal, corner , a ball bounced back etc.
a 5-4-1 is the best choice for us because we can't afford to let the other team score firts , we tend to give up and made more mistakes when we are trailling, but i we score first the moral is automaticaly boosted and also we are more likely to keep the score then to loose it.

It's sunday afternoon june 22nd 2008 in the NA, the National Soccer Team of Haiti has just got its qualification to the next round of the Concacaf zone. Like the first game, not none of the haitian players were able to score. The luck they were hoping for came through late of the contest when a NA players headed an auto goal to his net. So many of us are optimist about the haitian soccer team including me, what I'm skeptical about is the way the coaching staff found it close to impossible how to put together a good team on the field which can play together as one team bu not eleven players. Why have we seen lately a soccer team where the players look so perplexed and have no believe into playing to win mentality.

Who's responsibilty is it really to get the team ready in the right mind set before each game? Easy answer, the coaching staff! with good leadershid, dicipline and accountability everything is possible. Nevertheless, even against a NA team which was just kicking long ball all game long, we still could not impose our game on them. After that display, it's clear that this haitian soccer team is definitely palying under par. This team is not playing to the level of the rest of the teams in the region. After I watched El Savador eliminated Panama on that same night as Haiti beat NA 1-0, there is no doubt that their level of playing is way above ours. Their speed of the game is is faster, it's a one touch then pass, and nice crossing from left and right providing the strikers the dangerous balls. As I was watching the Grenadiers played last night, I din't see any, not even one dangerous cross from the wing. Why are the Grenadiers not scoring goals?

The answer is should be, maybe we don't have the playmakers to make it happen. Wrong, in my opinion we have the tools available within the squad to get the job done. Mr. Armelio Garcia has shown it to us in the pass, even he was so limited. Why is this coaching staff can not do better with a lot more privileges being provided to them. One can make that statement, why doesn't the coaching staff line up St preux on the right wing, Boucicaut on the left, Fabrice and Elifene up front all at once. Sound pretty simple right! however the coaching staff is out coaching theirselves, they are making it complicated and hard on them while they have so much more privided to them. A team like NA, where we failed to score a single goal, I stay confident the great coach Garcia would have easily destroy them. This current coaching staff hasn't showed me that the right players are being utilized at their best, the the tactic is not is not working, please, please make the nessessary corrections, it's clearly not working, too many horizontal passes while we needed to score goals.

In conclusion, the mindset should be, let's play with a sense of urgency, and defintely let's play to win by once again utilizing our players to the best of their ability. It's understandable, Mr. Garcia tactic was on the right path, all this coaching staff should have to do is just upgrade it, no need to change anything if it's not broke! Mr. Garcia used Boucicaut at the attacking mid (the 10 position). lets go back and watched previous tape of how the palyers were being used at their best by Mr. garcia whom was so limited at what was provided to him. Our motto is "back to Africa" , if the coaching staff doesn't get it act together right, sorry to say it my fellows, it will be a failure on the part of the coaching staff.

I have been to Game Guyana-Suriname last Sunday, the team of Suriname is not a good one. I saw two good players, one in the right and the one on the left, unfortunately thoses had not a good finish. the rest of the team are amateur and played like Haiti use to play five years ago. If Guyana had a good stricker the score could be diferent. I think this a good thing for us to receive first Suriname, we can start with a win a travel to Salvodor with a lot of confidence. I already plan to make the trip to Suriname on November 19th.

salut,
mesye mwen menm nan opinion pa'm mwen pa rele sa haiti ap jwe la football, equipe la ap jwe without a sense of urgency, we're lack in vision, haiti dwe siveye zo'l pou'l pa fini dernier nan groupe C a, de plus se yon faveur haiti, yo pa mete'l nan menm poul A non plus B. poul C a se li ki pi facile. mwen rete kwe haiti t'ap qualifie pou W/C 2010 si Mr. Garcia t'ap coach equipe la toujou, et kounye a equipe la vraiment upgrade, but this coaching staff is not able to put a great team, Yon entraineur ki champion nan caribbean cup la, ou pa kite'l ale. bad mistake. I think the U-20 NT coaching staff would be able to put up a tactic which would have enable us to score on NA. The problem is the coaching staff, because we have the players, why not use them at their best. why not have Fabrice, or Elifene up front Boucicaut as an attacking Mid, St Preux on the right wing, let's even put put Herold Jr on the right wing, vubert and brunel as defensive mid, Aveska, JJP, Bruny, and Gilles in the D. and Placide or Fenelon in the goal. With a team like this Mr. Armelio Garcia will fly high! current coaching staff sa montre'm que li mediocre. A long term plan is to start from scratch, a whole new coaching staff. May be bring Mr. Armelio back, with a well known strengh coach.

mwen esseye komprann sa'w vle di a, ballon an rond li roule tou de bo, mais equipe sa la ap jwe sans structure offensive, li gen jwe yo valib se sou ban l'ap kite yo, he is being outcoaching himself. Back in 98 Aime Jaquect used a 4-3-1-2, or the 4-5-1 and everything went through Zidane as an attacking mid, and Karembeu as a defensif mid, equipe nou an pa gen patron, tout gro equipe yo gen patron, France te gen Zizou!, Germany gen Ballack, Argentine gen Ron Roman Riquelme, Brasil te gen Ronaldinho, mais pou ki sa Eloi pa mete Boucicaut as an attacking mid and make everything goes trhough him? et Vubert as a defensif mid Mesye yo entraine yo ap complique bagail yo amba a. Et puis tale yo pral bay excuses se mauvaise preparation. Fois sa se move tactic l'ap ye.

haiti in the next roun-new calender
Salut cher ami.
