I like the idea because Haiti is truly lacking when it comes to recreational activities and entertainment spots.
I would have rather have this Haitian concept, inspired and financed by Haitians to have been called Parc d'Ayiti. Maybe Haitians are not aware, but the idea and invention of the word Quisqueya is purely Dominican. This word has no basis in historical facts and is a pure invention of two Dominican historians in their attempts at avoiding using the name Haiti. They preferred Hispaniola or Quisqueya instead of Haiti. But historically, and geographically, the name Quisqueya is a prejudicial substitute for Haiti.

In life, there is always pro and con in everithing. I do not want to stay in sementic about the meaning of a word, but I see the big picture. A project like that can give Haiti a better image and create thousands of good paying jobs for the local people. In addition, if the investors create resorts (with spas, massages, folkore musics and good food) around that park and create a low key security force like Disney World, train the employees in hospotality management. That park would be a Caribbean Paradise for tourism. The name, Quisqueya can eliminate the pre-conceived ideas that some people have about Haiti. That project will be a success like " Labady". Im my opinion, the investors will break even during the first three years. That project is a diamond mine. Go for it!!!

Fok ou pa trop pessimiste, l'espoir fait vivre;
Min se vre ke yo pa realiste, koman yo ka kompare yon projet US 25 million avec Disney World. Plus there are way too many issues going on with this project as far as investing is concerned.

Mon che, mwen panse ke si pou peyi a vanse fok nou we bagay yo jan yo ye, de facon realiste.
Moun sa yo we on ti filet dlo, yo rele li fleuve.
On ban jwe ki antrene nan shoute boul sitron epi neg yo ap epate. Mwen menm mwen te grandi ap gade neg yo kap roule balon tou rond, ballon adidas.
