1. If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto. The blockage will be almost instantly removed.

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

In the 16th century St. Martin de Porres was a barber-surgeon and vice versa. In those early days, it was believed that when a patient was sick it was because he had too much blood. He went to the barber-surgeon, who had plenty of razors, and was bled, that is, the barber surgeon would cut his veins and drain some of his blood out. This belief was held by physicians as late as 1800. It was the cause of the death of George Washington in 1800.
