This is good news for South Floridians, particularly the (minority) communities, a good step in the right direction for the Miami Police Department which has had its share of bad press, scandals and problems. Miami needs more officers of Haitian descent and develop better sensitivity training. Congratulations to the top brass that made this wise decision and to the entire Miam Police Department.
