Question who are we as a people

I grew up n this beautiful country until I was 13 years of age. While most people abandoned their haitian root, I continue to grow with her with pride. I am a college graduate and I believe that it is secure to say that I know of haitis every bid of history from the time our forefathers landed in that land up to this day.
I love the land I will never give up my citizenship.
Unfortunately, it is very disturbing to see how Haitian in Haiti and their financial backers up here and other countries, have fuel the situation so much that I wonder if we are a lost people with a continuing slave memtality or half human. For God sake, why do we kill and hate each other so much? Why do we fight so much and detroy the country because some rich man who gives not a damn about our welfare pay us or pay those thugs that call themselves leaders or "opposition" to cause nothing but hate. Are we too blind to see how the foreign Media portrays us in the news? like a bunch of imbecile with no life whose only use is to dance in the street and call for ABA this one and ABA that one. Forgive me to say, but these idiots are dancing in the street of gonaive or the Cap or any other places for what? Because you hate Aristide so much. Oh no, it is maybe because of some thug that was found dead. NOw they blame Aristide. Everyday, we haitian particularly those in Haiti goes further and further. We have no unity. We are only known these days for our violent ways. Why can't we put our heads together and say enough is enough. Why can't we give this guy that was elected a chance to lead. Most Americans wished they had not voted for Bush, but you don't see them revolting in the street of San Francisco or Detroit or New York city. They are too human and educated for all that unnecessary violence. NO. They will wait at the end of his term and maybe vote him out. But NO NO, Haitians with the big bank account who cannot get that POUVOIR by the ballot, will say anything to some imbeciles in the towns and call for mass demonstration in the stree so they may kill or get rid of a president or senator or mayor by for. Yet, it is this so call Oppossition that is calling for revolution. Revolution for whom I ask. To fill their already deep pockets and their friends-and it is they, who will send, oce they take the POUVOIR, to oppress these same vagabonds who once take into the streets. Aristide may not be a great President. but he is by far the best I have seen. He call for unity and he helps with the money that he has-whether he takes out of it form loans or not. At least not unlike the others, he biult roads and other good stuff. For a country that has no growth, he really helps. So please, show me another man who has a plan, who calls for dialogue, who is reasonable who calls for unity amoungs the people and I will vote for him in the next election. BUt NO we haitian are not a patient people. We cannot wait for result. We expect magic. We expect for a president to give us this and that. Why can't we help haiti instead of trying to help this man or that man.
So think about it you foolish people who dance in the street with a bunch of tree branches for the" white" man who pays our brothers in power to creat instability. GO head make a fool of of yourselves like uneducated fools an Idiots over nothing and over a bunch of Camera who loves to shows these fools in the street. You think Bush give a hell about us? THink again. You think this so call Oppossition gives a damn? think again! As for me, I will continue to love Haiti, even though I dislike my foolish half brothers and sister, whomI once love so dearly long ago fo getting rid of that butcher and his son and others that had followed them. I am Haitian but of the african and European Jewish ancestry. I love my home land as much as I love Israel my ancestor's land. I would figh and give my blood for both. But, I will never give my life for those opposition Idiots who has no agenda or Ideas but only calling for revolution. Tell me this: Where are we after so many revolutions and bloodshed. No where. I am not sure how can I ever teach my sons or dauthers one day to love this people...or nation.
